Abstract

This document makes an estimation of the bovine cattle inventory in Colombia, tend to give lights on the probability of the policies of cattle development in the country, basically with a view to contributing methodological instruments like Arima models and other models of series of time in the estimation of the cattle inventory in Colombia. The analysis begins with a revision of the importance of the cattle ranch in the theory of the economic development, then continues with the estimation of methods of estimation univariate on the probabilities of reaching the inventories of bovine cattle according to the plan of cattle development towards the 2019 in agreement with the sectorial and national development.
