The objective of this research article is to present a multidimensional forecasting system for industrial SMEs in Ibagué (Tolima, Colombia) through the characterization of these tools in these companies. We used the mixed method of investigation that included qualitative and quantitative elements. The sample was of 42 small and medium enterprises selected through stratified random sampling of a population of 93 organizations. The research techniques used were direct observation, a survey and interviews with the managers of these SMEs. The result of this research project was the proposal of a multidimensional forecast system for SMEs in Ibagué, which included aspects related to the importance of predictions in strategy and organizational performance, training and forecasting software, and accuracy and combination Of the forecasts, all of them as part of the "planning and forecasting" dimension.
