Practices of access allowed by mobile devices connected to the Global Positioning System (GPS) are bringing the emergence of a new social space that mixes seamlessly the virtual (cyberspace) with the physical environments in which our biological body circulates. The aim of this paper is to present the new modalities of communication, connection, and interaction appearing under the name of "locative media". They are processes that originate a politically oriented aesthetics whose main characteristics will be discussed in this paper.
