This article is a product of a research project undertaken under the Regional Scholarships Program of CLACSO, about democratic experiences in Latin America. Here some aspects of collective actions in defense of public health in the city of Cordoba, Argentina, are reconstructed. The ways and possibilities for its unfolding, as well as the devises that capture and reduce its power, are considered here in the frame of contemporary discussions about the concept of biopolitics.
