Abstract

RODRIGUEZ MEDINA, Leandro. Pre-capitalist relationships in scientific practices in Argentina. Nómadas [online]. 2008, n.29, pp.64-78. ISSN 0121-7550.

As a result of a qualitative approach study based on interviews, this article analyzes the relationships between fulltime officials and those people who work on a nonremunerative basis in the political science careers in Argentina, showing that those actors who don't receive a salary for their professional activities need the establishment of some pre-capitalist relationships based on alternative lucrative principles, and suggests that the concept of "academic field" should be replaced by that of "network".

Keywords : research; Latin America; cognitive capitalism; ad honorem work, university; political science.
