Abstract

HALLWARD, Peter. La voluntad del pueblo: notas para un voluntarismo dialécticoThe will of the people: notes for a dialectical voluntarism. Nómadas [online]. 2009, n.31, pp.93-111. ISSN 0121-7550.

Taking advantage of the idea of will of the people, this article defines "the action of emancipation" as a dialectic process, deliberate and inclusive in collective self-determination. It considers the people in terms of common interests, inclusive and egalitarian, and it posits a concept of voluntarism which retakes elements of Rousseau's projects and those of his Jacobin followers, of Kant and Hegel, as well as the projects of contemporary neo-Jacobinites. Parallel to the definition of properties that make up the concept of will, it criticizes anti-voluntarism philosophies.

Keywords : will; people; emancipation; criticism; autonomy.
