Abstract

From a view of the collective action and the framing processes, this article focuses on those collectives’ practices tending to reverse the invisibilization, stigmatization and silencing processes inside the hegemonic media press in Argentina. To get the purpose it characterizes the last years’ extractive policies advancement in Latin America and the hegemonic visibilization on the media of the conflicts around those policies; then it describes the resistance through protests and alternative media. Finally, it gives an account of the official public discourse re-framing around the indigenous and environmental issues as a new invisibilization strategy.
