This text work presents the first stage of CITs in the education and pedagogy field to the 90s, as part of the advances of the university macro-project "Paradigmas y conceptos de la educación en Colombia". First, it sets out the research referents. Then, it describes the general elements of this stage and the arrival of CITs to education in four academic fields: Computers engineering, Social communication, education policies and education and pedagogy fields. As a conclusion, CITs are quite significant for the transformation in the education and pedagogy discourses.
