The recent constituent Bolivian process is analyzed in the first section as the scene of social and political debate about the economic model to be embodied in the New Constitution. The first part refers to the monocultural, colonial and excluding framework that has maintained a form of understanding economy which has been supported by the Constitution, favoring a distinct power bloc. It is followed by the analysis of the constituent scene as a historical opportunity to debate the reason of the economy. this debate results in the productive economic national model declared in the text of the Constitution.
