What representations of the indigenous people and their material culture are present in the Gold Museum permanent Collection? how do such representations have changed? What guides and visitors correlates do accompany the visits to the collection? those are the questions stated to write this article aimed to show the contingent character of these Museum's forms of representation, as well as its lack of continuity and subjacent tensions.
