Abstract

MUNOZ ONOFRE, Darío Reynaldo. WARLIKE PASSIONS. WAR MANAGEMENT DURING THE 21ST CENTURY'S FIRST DECADE IN COLOMBIA. Nómadas [online]. 2012, n.37, pp.73-87. ISSN 0121-7550.

Analyzed through the heroic and patriotic passions of the colombianidad, the article questions the war in the country during the first decade of the current century. With this purpose, the strongly war-perpetuating practices of the Government are studied. It aims to transdisciplinary discuss the approaches to warfare and consequently subvert them, integrating heterogeneous sources -usually ignored by modern disciplines- alienating the analysis from the moral compass dominantly used to study warfare.

Keywords : war in Colombia; democratic security; warfare governmentality; cultural studies; war geopolitics; war propaganda.
