This article offers a reading of some representations of the female sexual organs in anatomy books, pedagogic materials and hentai pornography scenes. The analysis starts from understanding the images not only as symptoms and agents of relationships of domination, but also envisioning their possibilities for re-reading and deconstruction. It concludes that said representations are a differentiating mark built in fact upon masculinity; it proposes then to widen the visibility of the female genitalia.
