Abstract

ARBOLEDA GOMEZ, Rubiela. Identities on urban transit: corporal practices of forcefuly displaced people to Medellín. Nómadas [online]. 2013, n.39, pp.105-119. ISSN 0121-7550.

This article is the result of the investigation "Improntas política-motricidad y su mediación en la relación cuerpo-ciudad de los desplazados hacia la ciudad de Medellín.", carried out between 2010 and 2012. It aims to identify emerging practices related to the political dimension in connection with mobility, which favor the identity's reconfiguration during the rural-urban transit, resulted from the exile, framed in the armed conflict in Colombia. Finally, it shows the role of body-bound politics in the adaptation process performed by individuals exiled to the city.

Keywords : body; city; displaced people; identity; politics.
