This article discusses the genealogical context of the Master in Interdisciplinary Development Studies of the Universidad del Cauca, Colombia. It also shows this project's spirit and imprint, anchored in the de-colonization of knowledge, cognitive justice, the assessment of epistemic discourses and practices of cultural difference and socio-cultural singularities, processes inscribed in the post-development horizon that strain the conventional development.
