Abstract

ASOCIACION CURUINSI E INSTITUTO DE INVESTIGACIONES DE LA AMAZONIA PERUANA. Komuilla uai, self- development and formation: a urban minga in the peruvian amazon region. Nómadas [online]. 2014, n.41, pp.27-43. ISSN 0121-7550.

The urban minga concept is used to relativize the issue of traditional authorship in order to make known the progress in collaborative working made by members of a formation process about self-development and ancestral wisdom in the Peruvian Amazon region. The text presents the two main working guides in two different stages. Firstly, the tension between townspeople and the inhabitants of the rain forest, and secondly, an approach to the murui-uitoto wisdom. Lastly, this research envisions new ways to continue the process based on the concept of formation with an interdisciplinary approach.

Keywords : self-development; ancestral wisdom; non-formal learning; local transformation; social sciences from the margin; murui-uitoto; Peruvian Amazonia.
