ROZO SANDOVAL, Ana Claudia  and  BERMUDEZ, Mónica María. NOTIONS OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FIELD: A DEBATE FROM RECENT RESEARCH. Nómadas [online]. 2015, n.42, pp.167-179. ISSN 0121-7550.

The results of a recent research analyzing notions, practices and uses of pedagogic experiences in the field of Information Technology (IT), guide the debate on conceptual perspectives from which this element is projected onto the basic and middle education in Colombia, to reiterate the necessity of expanding the debate about its epistemological statute, confronting the dominancy of approaches that limit the field to the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Keywords : technology and computer science; ICT; pedagogic practice; technology epistemology; sociocultural perspective; school environments.
