Abstract

BARRETO, Martha Helena. Network marketing industry and production of new subjectivities. Nómadas [online]. 2015, n.43, pp.75-93. ISSN 0121-7550.

This article describes the partial results of the research, "Working Methods and Processes of Subjectivity," which intends to explore the transition from material to immaterial labor. The primary question of the article is: What types of actions and forms of subjectivity does the dialogue of Network Marketing create regarding the transition from material to immaterial labor? This analysis is accomplished through the investigation concerning the new forms of exploitation. It concludes with the emergence of new subjectivities, which have greater autonomy, freedom and mobility, but is simultaneously occupied by the interests of the consumer and marketing interests.

Keywords : discourse; subjectivity; labor, e-commerce; ethics.
