Abstract

DIAZ LEDESMA, Lucas. Bruxas e feiticeiros: sexo, religião e do colonialismo na cotidiana Santiagueña. Nómadas [online]. 2016, n.45, pp.241-249. ISSN 0121-7550.

Based on testimonies given, this article analyzes the image of the apprentice of magic and its relationship with the witch-image, thus articulating the magical-religious representations with the sex-gender imagery in everyday experiences. Accordingly, the article aims to describe and understand the narratives about injuries or healings, and whose rationality is produced through a dialogue with the colonial Santiagueña processes. Through communication, as well as de-colonial studies and postcolonial feminism, the purpose is to originate knowledge located in and from Latin America.

Keywords : witches; coloniality; magic; gender; religiosity; apprentices of magic.
