Abstract

OLIVEROS FORTICHE, Diana Esperanza. Yukpa life plan: relations between territory and good living. Nómadas [online]. 2017, n.46, pp.81-93. ISSN 0121-7550.

This article presents the thoughts and experiences of the indigenous group Yukpa, settled on the Perijá Mountain Range in Colombia and deals with the creation of their life plan. Based on their experiences, the document seeks to understand the definition of good living, a concept created in the philosophy of Latin American indigenous people opposed to capitalist development. The research approach was based on Participatory Action Research (PAR). The conclusions show the specificity of the meaning of good living according to the Yukpa people, as well as the importance of their territory as a fundamental foundation of their identity, life and experience.

Keywords : life plan; territory; good living; Yukpa; law; culture.
