Abstract

BOLLA, Luisina. Materialist feminist cartographies: heterodox re-readings of Marxism. Nómadas [online]. 2018, n.48, pp.117-134. ISSN 0121-7550.  https://doi.org/10.30578/nomadas.n48a7.

This article proposes a journey through different feminist theories that inquires about the assumptions of classical Marxism in its analysis of the so-called "women's issue" The unifying thread is the critique of the Marxian concept of the division of labor which led to deep theoretical-political dislocations and, since the 1970s, it has led to its radical reformulation in the Francophone materialist feminist current through the approach of the social structural relations of gender [rapports sociaux de sexe].

Keywords : materialist feminism; Marxism; sexual division of labor; social structural relations of gender; sexage.
