Abstract

CORTES ACOSTA, Diana  and  OSPINA BERNAL, Juliette. The colombia consumer talks about cinema. Nómadas [online]. 2018, n.48, pp.253-261. ISSN 0121-7550.  https://doi.org/10.30578/nomadas.n48a16.

The peak of Colombian cinema in recent years is closely connected to the implementation of Law 814 of 2003, which promotes research, production, and distribution of cinema. However, the films that premiere in movie theaters are not widely watched by large audiences because most of the films produced in the country are a part of the so-called "festival" or "author films" and are not of the general appeal to the Colombian public. This research document presents general ideas expressed by the public regarding the forms of production, distribution and exhibition of national Colombian cinema.

Keywords : cinema; public; Colombian cinema; distribution; exhibition; internal consumption.
