HOOKS, bell  and  RODRIGUEZ, Diana Carolina Peláez. Theory as Liberatory Practice. Nómadas [online]. 2019, n.50, pp.123-135. ISSN 0121-7550.  https://doi.org/10.30578/nomadas.n50a8.

From the autobiographical work of the author, the article states that the conception of theory as a place for healing the wounds of the past. From such perspective and adopting a black feminist point of view, the document presents a critique in the ways the feminist field understands and circulates a notion of theory that stands against practice, as well as the places where practice takes place without the recognition of theory. The text concludes with an approach to a feminist theory that builds a mass-based feminist resistance struggleand collaborates with the processes of pain healing.
