Abstract

MANTILLA, Diana María. "It Was the Time, That of the Butterflies": Isabel Moya, a Life Dedicated to Inclusive Communication. Nómadas [online]. 2019, n.51, pp.225-231. ISSN 0121-7550.  https://doi.org/10.30578/nomadas.n51a13.

The article deals with the intellectual and journalistic legacy of Isabel Moya, a Cuban social communicator, researcher and teacher. It points out that her intellectual production and feminist activism promoted the genesis of a conception in communication that involves the gender perspective; understanding this activity as a powerful tool for creating meaning and subjectivities. Under this endeavor, the text notes that Moya offers a critical point of view in favor of representation diversity of men and women in advertising, as well as an inclusive journalism with the premise of equality as a starting point
