Abstract

VITE HERNANDEZ, Diana. Fragility as Counter-Ableism Resistance: On Agency and Situated Experience. Nómadas [online]. 2020, n.52, pp.13-27. ISSN 0121-7550.  https://doi.org/10.30578/nomadas.n52a1.

The following text aims to vindicate the notion of fragility as a political practice and as part of a counterableism resistance, which is brought into dialogue with a feminist perspective. Instead of centering the problem on the disabled subject, it questions the ableist pretensions that incite to challenge expressions, practices, and materialities of fragility having the joy of the disca.

Keywords : Fragility; Counter-Ableism; Feminism; Disability; Agency; Joy.
