The purpose of the article is to share reflections on the university-knowledge society relationship, based on three sections. The first of these has to do with the emergence of the information society in the framework of the rise of economic neoliberalism and new technologies; the second refers to the Bologna Declaration and the "Reform of the university"; and the third and last one poses the articulation between the university and responsible citizenship as a challenge of inclusion. In short, it advocates for a dialoguing and pluralistic university that aspires to knowledge that dignifies society in pursuit of the ethical training of professionals committed to the truth.
