AGUDELO CONTRERAS, Óscar Hernando  and  CASTRO CIFUENTES, Julián Darío. Towards a Higher Music Education in Digital Environments. Nómadas [online]. 2022, vol.56, pp.211-227.  Epub Apr 16, 2023. ISSN 0121-7550.  https://doi.org/10.30578/nomadas.n56a11.

The article collects the results of a research project whose objective was to establish foundations for the approach to a pedagogical model of higher music education in digital environments. For accomplish this, a theory based on musical training experiences mediated by digital information and communication technologies (TdIC) was formulated, from which the notion of digital technologies for learning and knowledge (TdAC) is discussed. From this approach, the article invites to think about the implications of the use of digital technologies in higher music education processes and the scope of its application in a post-pandemic scenario in Latin America.

Keywords : pedagogical model; digital technologies; higher music education; grounded theory; Latin America.
