Within the framework of a doctoral dissertation, the authors question the capacity of Euro-modern indicators of creativity to assess how Indigenous peoples manage novelty. They are interested in what these indicators exclude -a generative faculty for which creativity is its "other"- which they call creaotrivity. Their research approaches radically heterogeneous singularities in Indigenous narratives through the lenses of cosmo-technics and multinaturalism. The authors seek alternatives to creativity and its measurements in an encounter between Indigenous modes of making and Western theorization.
