The article focuses on analyzing the communication and disclosure of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in companies from Pacific Alliance countries, considering communicative instrumentalization practices through SDG-washing. The authors address the relationship between the SDGs and SDG-washing theoretically and conceptually, and synthesize patterns in SDG-related information disclosure using a qualitative, critical research approach. The results show greenwashing strategies and SDG-washing practices in 90% of the companies analyzed.
