BUITRAGO, Luis Guillermo; VERGARA A, Enrique  and  CORREA P, Juan Rafael. Calcinosis universalis in juvenile dermatomyositis: case report. Rev.Colomb.Reumatol. [online]. 2008, vol.15, n.2, pp.123-127. ISSN 0121-8123.

We report a new case of Universalis calcinosis in an 8 year old female with a diagnosis of Juvenile dermatomyositis. This paper presents a review of the literature describing the symptoms, laboratory, radiograph findings, differential diagnosis and treatment of this entity. We found that it is a very uncommon disease, and to our knowledge, there have been only 26 clinical cases previously published.
