HUERTAS DIAZ, Omar; TORRES VASQUEZ, Henry  and  DIAZ PEREZ, Nydia Cecilia. The leviathan of the mass media, the danger of otherness and criminal law: The construction of the enemy media. Rev. Derecho [online]. 2011, n.35, pp.96-117. ISSN 0121-8697.

The subservience of the media is axiomatic in the construction of an enemy that serves the State for all purposes. Thus, the Colombian government has used a high dose of legal and illegal violence, based on a deviant interpretation of democracy, in order to magnify terrorism as the only problem to solve. However, the "enemy" is an otherness produced by the media.

Keywords : Communication; criminal law; enemy; otherness; terrorism.
