Abstract

The juridical and literary classic sources denounce the existence of numerous activities of corruption and frauds in the Roman Empire companies. Civil and criminal facts, ex-delicto, anti-juriciary that were realized, well on the initiative of the executives and the commercial factors, well on the initiative of the owners, good on the initiative of the rival companies. From ends of the Republic, the juridical sources bring the existence of numerous managerial corrupt slaves. The Civil law, the Law of the praetor and the criminal legislation gave effective and forceful answers to the problem of the corruption of the managers and their salesmen in the factories and mercantile establishments.
