This paper is the result of an investigation whose main objective was to analyze the access to justice in the dispute settlement mechanism provided for in the Colombia- United States- Free Trade Agreement (TLC COL-USA) and the impact for the Colombian economic sectors. From the theoretical conceptualization of access to justice built from the Colombian and American doctrine and jurisprudence, as well as analysis of the dispute settlement system embodied in TLC and its relationship to a specific agent of the Colombian productive sector are as microentrepreneurs.
