Abstract

DE LA PUENTE PACHECO, Mario Alberto. Comparative Medical Tourism in Colombia and Singapore: sectorial study and Development Perspectives. Rev. Derecho [online]. 2017, n.47, pp.290-309. ISSN 0121-8697.

This article analyzes compared medical tourism sector to the localities of Colombia and Singapore in order to identify sectorial general structure of both for purposes of differentiated integral development from private and public political situations are analyzed. The research methodology is based on official data collection and interviews with union representatives and brokers of medical tourism services that enable the collection of independent variables. It is found that the medical tourism sector form Colombia and Singapore are differentiated due to different development policies approaches. This work contributes to the tourism sector through the study of medical tourism as unexplored sector worldwide.
