Philosophical and political basics of the Colombian Political Constitution-1991 is a proposal articulating research and classroom implementation, it also comprises curricular content linked with the undergraduate course Political Constitution. The study of both the proposal and course has two nodes: the topics and contents of the political constitution; and the skills, attitude, and civic values required to achieve an effective coexistence between the constitution and democracy. In that sense, the proposal aims at constructing a pedagogical alternative from the point of view of philosophy with a critical thinking approach, in order to provide undergraduate students learning opportunities for reflection and action about their social, political, cultural, and economic reality, as well as to make them mull over those civic skills required to understand and accomplish the ideals that fund the constitution.
