Minor anesthetic complications (MAC) are incidents related to anesthesia, increasing morbidity and mortality and prolonging hospitalization. Objective: Determine prevalence of MAC related to anesthesia in a hospital in the city of Pereira (Risaralda) and anesthetic satisfaction. Method: Quantitative observational cross-sectional study, to a sample of patients undergoing elective or emergency, up to 48 hours after anesthesia. We applied univariate logistic regression model to correlate variables. Results: Sample of 66 patients. 73% reported at least one complication. The most common: pain (60.4%), headache (12%), nausea and vomiting (8.4%). Greater prevalence: smokers (30%) and hypertensive patients (21%). As regards to the technique, general anesthesia (52%). MAC increased depending on the duration of the procedure. Pain management was poor (47.7%) in dipyrone handled patients (90%). Conclution: The study showed a high prevalence of MAC. Importance of implementing intervention strategies for management
