This paper presents the experience of the intervention with a group of female children and adolescents in the social housing complex Plaza de la Hoja in Bogotá. Its objective was to strengthen the group organization and the autonomy of its members by transforming the meanings that there have been built by patriarchy and adultcentrism. Along the process, the pedagogical perspective was the popular education supported by artistic and playful tools; they led to the establishment of cooperation relationships, as well as cohesion, leadership and expressions of subjectivities inside the group.
