Abstract

PINEDA-MARTINEZ, Edgar Oswaldo; OROZCO-PINEDA, Paula Andrea  and  OSPINA-SOGAMOSO, José Vicente. Ethnoecological principles for environmental education for social justice in the key of emotions from good living. Hermeneutic study in Meta, Colombia. Prospectiva [online]. 2023, n.35, e20312292.  Epub Dec 20, 2022. ISSN 0122-1213.  https://doi.org/10.25100/prts.v0i35.12292.

From the results derived from a process of hermeneutic microanalysis to the narrative plots of ethnoeducators of indigenous communities in the department of Meta (Colombia) within the framework of the research three projects, the presence of variables related to ethnic and ecological issues was evidenced in reference to the need to promote an environmental education that allows a type of emotional, legal and social recognition and thus contribute to the resolution of environmental and territorial conflicts associated with acts of violence and dispossession in the territory. For this reason, this paper aims to give a tangible, and concrete body to the ecological dimension in the construction of a culture of educational social justice. To this end, the aim is to define the ethnic and ecological value of speaking about territory and community development, seeking to give strength to environmental education as a key to processes for generating recognitions and capacities for educational social justice from an ethnoecological perspective.
