Abstract

MACEDO DE ALENCAR, Cristina María. Knowledge for development of rural or rural subjects?. Cuad. Desarro. Rural [online]. 2009, vol.6, n.63, pp.163-185. ISSN 0122-1450.

In this article, we demonstrate that the social dimension of reality, here regarded as the performance space of subjects experiencing the rural world is as average activity is at an end activity has redirected, if not content, at least the processes of diffusion of scientific knowledge, ranging from technical training for the state to rural producers, whether acting as agents of the government project, is to act as subjects of their own projects. Training professionals in rural areas remains a subject that is under the action of actors, and nature is under the control of technology. The training considers the relationship of the rural world as lived reality, as action and reflection, for his subjects, is conditional upon the existence of social movements and, therefore, interact with development actors. So, I seek to understand how the social dimension of reality to steer the content and processes of diffusion of scientific knowledge from the training of technicians of the state to the family farmer.

Keywords : rural development; rural subjects; training and knowledge.
