Abstract

SANCHEZ-ZAMORA, Pedro; GALLARDO-COBOS, Rosa  and  DELGADO, Felisa Ceña. The Notion of Resilience in the Analysis of the Rural Territorial Dynamics: An Approach to the Concept through a Territorial Approach. Cuad. Desarro. Rural [online]. 2016, vol.13, n.77, pp.93-116. ISSN 0122-1450.  https://doi.org/10.11144/Javeriana.cdr13-77.nrad.

In the rural field, the resilience concept has been applied from the perspective of socio-ecological systems and sustainable development. However, this concept is still not widely in use in the rural field with a territorial approach. The purpose of this work is to move forward the conceptualization of territorial resilience from a spatial, evolving, and dynamic perspective. For this purpose, we start from resilience on socio-ecological systems and community resilience, analyzed within the interpretive framework of the concept of territory and rural territorial dynamics.

Keywords : territory; rural territorial dynamics; territorial resiliency; socio-ecological systems.
