Abstract

QUINTERO TIMANA, Diego Andrés  and  ROSERO GOMAJOA, Juan Pablo. The Configuration of the Contestatary Intellectual Field: University of Nariño (1960 – 1970). Anu.hist.reg.front. [online]. 2020, vol.25, n.2, pp.187-217.  Epub June 30, 2020. ISSN 0122-2066.  https://doi.org/10.18273/revanu.v25n2-2020007.

This paper aims to analyze configuration processes of the contestatary intel- lectual field at the Universidad de Nariño during the sixties and seventies of the 20th century. For this, based on a qualitative methodological strategy, guided by a docu- mentary and archival review, and the implementation of semi-structured interviews with intellectuals from the University of Nariño who inhabited the temporality under study, it was possible to develop an exercise in narrative reconstruction. Such exercise articulates the regional events which occurred in relation to the research topic as part of the multiple dynamics which make up the national and international histori- cal framework. Thus, it is possible to establish the characteristics of the contestatary intellectual originating from the dynamics of the department of Nariño, promoting a research benchmark for the political and historical analysis of social movements and the configuration of the intellectual field in the regional context of the south-west Colombian.
