This article proposes the discussion about the construction of the state in Colombia, between the elements of Foucault's biopolithics analyze. It shows the characteristics of special practices since XIX to take part of the population and defining spaces for the exercise of political power. In this document, it has made special emphasis in the relation between the local practices and national politics, the image of the fragmentation in a political system with presidential characteristics.
