This article presents an analysis of a dissemination text, with the objective of showing that it is possible to recognize in the text a social process of transformation of the typification of the image of Colombian women. The article presents the fundamental elements of the criteria for selecting the magazine analyzed, and on the basis of these elements it explains the change operated and some of the causes that could spur it.
