Abstract

PRESSACCO, Carlos Fabián. Regional decentralizing chilean: progress and "remaining subjects". Pap.polit. [online]. 2009, vol.14, n.2, pp.409-429. ISSN 0122-4409.

The process of regional decentralization in Chile shows that significant advances have eased the traditional centrality of the political system. However, these reforms are evaluated as insufficient by the relevant actors involved, evidence that is confirmed when the contrasts with the results of two international experiences: that of the Colombian provinces and the French regions.

Keywords : Descentralization; Chile; regions; political actors.
