The current process of globalization highlights the importance of the space-time dimension of socio-historical trajectories, even though it has yet to receive the full attention it requires to enrich analysis and interpretation. This paper proposes mapping the forces and processes that shape the globalization process, calling attention to the spatial features and tendencies that define it, such as ongoing globalizations. The challenges to analyzing a geopolitics of social action are emphasized.
