Abstract

Through a critique of the cult of speed in the modern capitalist system, the slow movement insists on the temporal roots of the global systemic crisis. This article offers an initial approximation to the origin and basis of the slow media, which advocate for an unhurried, thoughtful and sustainable approach to human, mediated and digital communication.
