Abstract

GIRBAL BLACHA, Noemí María. Formosa in Times of Historical Peronism (1943-1955). Who's who in the governing of a frontier territory?. Hist. Caribe [online]. 2013, vol.8, n.23, pp.21-53. ISSN 0122-8803.

Territory, State, Power and Identity are the key concepts that guide this historical study focused in a marginal territory in northeastern Argentina. The main objective is to characterize and interpret the exercise of biopower and governability during Peronism (1943-1955). Analyzing how political action is built and sustained in Formosa, this investigation advances on a rare topic in argentine historiography: the Peronism and its management within the country.

Keywords : peronismo; Formosa; biopower; government.
