Abstract

SALOMON, Alejandra. The Peronist populism: rural masses and local leaders. An unexplored link. Hist. Caribe [online]. 2013, vol.8, n.23, pp.55-87. ISSN 0122-8803.

This paper intends to highlight issues circumvented by dominant interpretations of Peronist populism mid-twentieth century, focusing on the urban masses and in Juan Domingo Peron. For this exhibit various theories relating to populism, especially those avocadas the Argentine case. Then he suggests a micro-historical perspective which incorporates the rural grassroots and local leaders.
