BRACAMONTE, LUCÍA. Women and the salesian cooperation in argentinian towns and cities (the end of the XIX century and 1930). Hist. Caribe [online]. 2023, vol.18, n.43, pp.37-66. Epub 23-Dic-2023. ISSN 0122-8803. https://doi.org/10.15648/hc.43.2023.3718.
This article aims at analyzing the roles the lay Salesian cooperatives from different cities and towns in Argentina between the end of the XIX century and 1930. Using letters, cooperatives that were not part of the Pious Union of Salesian Cooperators' commissions were studied since those ones have left fewer documentary traces and had little historiographical visibility compared to those that were part. Some of these cooperatives did not limit to only fulfilling their duties as members of that third order as they also acted to obtain other benefits for their people, their parental nucleus, and religious entrepreneurships of their communities.
