One hundred fourteen modifications to the first list of commercially important fishes of the Colombian continental Caribbean (Acero et al., 1986) are included; 69.3% of them are additions, 28.9%, changes, and 2.6%, substractions. A short review of the new FAO's volumen on the marine organisms of economical value of northem South America is also presented.
