These are: the bramble shark Echinorhinus brucus (Bonaterre), the sand tiger shark Odontaspis ferox (Risso), the roughtail stingray Dasyatis centroura (Mitchill) and the bluntnose sixgill shark Hexanchus griseus (Bonaterre). The animals were captured by artisanal fishermen from Las Flores, Barranquilla, using long-lines, at Bocas de Ceniza, next to the mouth of the Magdalena river (Atlántico Department), Colombian Caribbean.
